Hello everyone,
Hope everyone's holidays are going great! My friend just sent me some pictures of a new nail DIY she did! She got the idea from this website: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mf0tYLtwiiI
If you want to see how she did it check out that website. Here are her results:
"Life is too short to wear boring clothes" is definitely, 100 percent, the quote of my everyday life. Even if it's just a boring Sunday at home, by myself, I make sure I am wearing a fashionable outfit. I am not yet in the fashion world but I am striving to be, and I bet one day you will be wearing shirts that have "MeRGe" written on the tag.

Anyway, here are just some photos to get you in to the Christmas spirit!! Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Also, everyone, I would just like you all to realize that I am working on a couple new knitting projects, so make sure to check back often to see what happens!!

Knit Headband DIY
Hello everyone,
I know it has been a while... I'm sorry! It's getting to that time of year when everything just seems to be happening at once! It is definitely getting difficult to keep up! I hope every one had a wonderful holiday! And, is getting ready for the rest of the holiday season! I just love the carols being played!
So, because there was snow a couple days ago, and up here in the mountains, we get SO MUCH SNOW! I decided to knit myself up a headband! I knitted ten stitches across then measured my head. I started just straight knitting, much like a skinny scarf! And, when I got to the point where I could wrap the knitting around my head, I casted off. After, I made a little bit skinnier scarf that was much shorter. After I casted off that one, I knitted three stitches across, and knitted a really skinny, tiny, piece. After I had all of the components, I sewed them together to create a bow!
Hope you like it!
All comments are welcome!

Thanksgiving pics!
Hello everyone,
I know I have already posted after Thanksgiving, however, I wanted to show you all some of the process of the food! Overall we had SO much food, that after I write this up, I will be enjoying some yummy leftovers!! So, I will make it quick!
My cousin and I were in charge of desserts! We made apple pie, pumpkin pie, cranberry sorbet, and vanilla bean ice cream! The sorbet and ice cream were made in an electric ice cream maker my brother bought me for my birthday last year! Thanks Buddy!!
I had a wonderful holiday and I have SO much to be thankful for! I hope everyone else had a good time! Remember to comment, I want to hear about your thanksgiving and what you are thankful for! All comments are appreciated!!

It came out SOO yummy! Of course to every one else it tasted SUPER tart, but I LOVE cranberry's so, it was PERFECTION!
This was the recipe that my great, great grandma used for pie dough! It ends up making like 8 single crusts! SUPER YUMMY! Just, remember when making pie dough, you want to make the butter in to small pellets!!
And, with leftover pumpkin, it is super easy to make a lovely egg nog mix! Just add egg nog, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves to the pumpkin and whisk thoroughly!I had a wonderful holiday and I have SO much to be thankful for! I hope everyone else had a good time! Happy Thanksgiving... and Black Friday Plans!
Hello All,
I hope you all had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving! Mine was pretty spectacular, filled with family and good food! You can't ask for much more, right? Tomorrow, bright and shiny, early in the morning my cousin, grandma, and I are going to take a trip down to Joann Fabrics and get TONS of stuff! Super EXCITED! So, being the anxious kid I am, I decided that for me to buy fabric, I needed designs! So, my cousin and I pulled out some inspirations (seventeen magazine, Pinterest (check mine out: http://pinterest.com/mergestyle/) etc.) and drew up some designs! I colored in some colors, however, those are not what I am basing the design or my fabric buying off of! I merely drew in the colors so I knew what I was kind of looking for in boldness or softness, pastel, or neon and so I could show how different colors work with each other! So, the main point of this little ramble is that when I post pictures of what I actually create or buy, don't expect the same colors!
Also, I would like to apologize before hand about the quality of pictures.... I am sorry... I needed a new camera!!
So, I hope you like what you see! Over the weekend I will post some of what I got and what I am going to do with it! Comment on what you think!! Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday!!

So, this skirt I am planning on putting in an invisible zipper in the back... and I want the bow to be a bright color. Perhaps, a gold or silver, while the skirt be a basic or neutral color! |
![]() |
If you can't tell, this is supposed to be a high-low skirt! Also, I do want to find a polka dot material for this skirt, however I would rather find a smaller polka dot pattern! |
![]() |
This, well this dress incorporates what I have ALWAYS wanted to do which is a peter pan collar! Also, I really want to use a bold fabric on the actually dress! |
![]() |
This dress I am thinking would be very modern looking! Also, I would have to use non clingy materials (NO KNITS) |
![]() |
This is pretty self explanatory! Just a dress, I am going to use a cool stitch in the middle to create the gather! |
![]() |
This dress I am hoping I can make really poofy! That would just make my life wonderful! However, after I drew this I realized DO NOT MAKE IT ORANGE! IT LOOKS LIKE A PUMPKIN!! |

My cousin told me to draw this one up! Basically, make a regular T-Shirt and add some bows to the back! If you haven't noticed... I LOVE bows! |

Oh look... another bow! This design is difficult to explain... and I really don't think it would work! However, it basically just layers different variations of the same color on top of each other! |

Newest Creation, the ALI DRESS!!
Hello Everyone, ( I posted this about a week ago, and I would just like to say that the skirt is now the Ali skirt!!)
I would just like to share with all of you my newest skirt I made! I haven't come up with a name yet, but the second I do I will tell you!
So, I made this a while back, and unfortunately I don't have a picture of it on the mannequin, (I am too lazy to go take a picture) so you are just going to have to imagine what it would look like! For now I am just going to call it the Red Skirt!

I know it looks crooked, but that is just the angle! The buttons ARE centered! |
